Mission Statement

Bermuda College, the only tertiary level institution in Bermuda, is committed to setting Bermuda’s students on the paths to success through the provision of comprehensive academic and technical education, along with professional training, personal and academic support services, quality facilities, and interactive partnerships with local and international entities.

    Vision Statement

    Bermuda College will be recognized locally and internationally as a centre for educational excellence, as it responds to the diverse needs of the community through innovative, quality teaching that enables students to enrich their lives intellectually, economically, socially, and culturally.

    Academic Divisions

    Applied Science & Technology
    The Division of Applied Science & Technology plays a critical role in society today by providing the necessary education and training of a skilled workforce that can meet the competitive challenges of both business and industry. Applied science and technological trades in Bermuda, now comprise some of the fastest-growing occupations today, and will soon come under a new national policy of standardised trade certification.
    Business Administration & Hospitality
    The Business Administration & Hospitality Division provides students with a strong foundation for careers in either industry. Trends in these professions are consistently monitored with regular evaluations and adjustments to course offerings. The integrated core curricula combines theoretical learning and practical applications, while reflecting the commitment of faculty to ensure that students are well equipped to compete successfully, either in a higher academic environment overseas, or in the workplace.
    Liberal Arts
    The Division of Liberal Arts offers eight Associate Degree programmes in Arts, Art & Design, Arts & Science, Arts (Human Services), Education, Human Services, Science and Actuarial Science. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for spirited participation in a dynamic and ever-changing society.
    It also provides the foundation for specialised training in medicine, education, nursing and actuarial science.
    Professional and Career Education
    The Division of Professional and Career Education (PACE) supports the College's mission by creating opportunities for professional, personal, social, economic growth and development; and by promoting life long learning opportunities.
