Carissa Darrel will graduate from Bermuda College in 2010. Her career goal is Social Worker/Drug Abuse Counsellor. Her biggest challenge so far is keeping her grade point average above a 2.0.
Carissa offers some advice to incoming freshman, "Remember these grades stay with you forever. So if you failed a class and took it over then passed, that F stays on your transcripts." She goes on to say that Bermuda College is, "like a 'tight-knit' community. Teachers know students by their names and not by student ID numbers like colleges/universities away."
As her favourite quote says, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained!"
